Zhejiang's Fine Products Make Their Debut at the 5th CICPE

From April 13 to 18, 2025, Haikou, Hainan, will be buzzing with excitement as it hosts the 5th China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE). A significant highlight of this year's event will be the unveiling of the exhibition titled "Zhejiang's Fine Products: A Legacy of Excellence" in the China Chic section.

Industry leaders such as Lingban Technology (parent company of Rokid), OSM, and Hu Qing Yu Tang are set to showcase their latest innovations, merging traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology. The theme of the exhibit, "New Consumption Trends, New Technological Forces," embodies Zhejiang's commitment to integrating its rich artisanal heritage with contemporary advancements. The slogan, "World-Class Quality, Made in Zhejiang," reflects the pride in local manufacturing excellence.

Visitors can expect an immersive hybrid exhibition that combines physical displays with virtual interactions, deepening their engagement with Zhejiang's historical products and modern consumer goods. The culture department will focus on established industries, with 18 brands displaying over 200 products that range from traditional handicrafts to innovative consumer items. A virtual exhibition developed in partnership with Alibaba's Taobao Tmall Group will also broaden the digital visibility of these products.

Among the key events on the CICPE agenda is the global product launch session themed "New Discoveries at CICPE World Premieres." On April 14, attendees will be introduced to three groundbreaking products: the AI+AR Rokid glasses, the OSM 2025 Soothing Whitening Essence edition, and Hu Qing Yu Tang's "Light Wellness Workplace Saviors" series designed for health-conscious young professionals.

Adding to the event's allure, Gu Xiaoyu, a VR hostess from Zhejiang Satellite TV, will serve as a "digital news anchor", delivering real-time updates to the audience. The exhibition will also host interactive experiences that engage visitors' senses of sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch, allowing them to explore Zhejiang's rich history through its traditional products. Guests will encounter traditional crafts such as Dongyang woodcarving, Wanfeng woodworking, Hu Qing Yu Tang's traditional Chinese medicine, and Shibake's Longjing tea.

Supporting the Zhejiang brand initiative are notable personalities like Zhu Zhu, spokesperson for OSM Skincare; Shen Zhirong, founder of OSM, known as "Grandpa Pearl"; Zhu Mingming, founder and CEO of Rokid; and Chen Yunhan, chairman and managing director of Hu Qing Yu Tang. The exhibition has garnered significant media attention, both nationally and internationally, with organizers leveraging live broadcasts, press conferences, and short video advertisements to enhance the visibility of Zhejiang brands on a global scale. This effort is a crucial part of China’s broader strategy to elevate the international competitiveness of its consumer goods sector.

The 5th CICPE promises not just to be an exhibition, but a celebration of Zhejiang's rich cultural heritage and progressive innovation, marking a significant advancement in China's consumer landscape.

Join us in Haikou from April 13 to 18 to experience the future of consumer products, uniquely shaped by Zhejiang's excellence and new technological innovations.
