TBH Angels Unveils New Brand Identity and Upcoming 2026 Programs to Empower Women Founders

TBH Angels' Bold Rebranding and 2026 Initiatives

TBH Angels, a trailblazing angel investment group led by women, has announced an exciting rebranding and a set of innovative programs for 2026, designed specifically to uplift early-stage women founders. Previously known as ATL TrailblazHER Angels, the group's new identity embodies its commitment to improving access to capital, community, and opportunities for underrepresented entrepreneurs. With roots firmly planted in Atlanta's burgeoning startup landscape, TBH Angels is on a mission to expand its influence nationally while building a robust network of accredited investors ready to reshape the early-stage investing scene.

Founding board member Jen Bonnett emphasizes that TBH Angels was created to tackle a substantial issue in the startup ecosystem: female founders continue to receive a mere fraction of venture funding, despite proving their capability by consistently outperforming benchmarks. Statistically, female-led businesses accounted for a staggering 35% higher return on investment compared to their male counterparts in the past year, yet women founders miss out on an alarming 97% of available venture capital. Among these overlooked groups, Black women founders acquire only 0.27% of venture funding, highlighting the critical need for targeted support and investment in these demographics.

“Beyond just funding, we have assembled a founding board specifically to offer invaluable guidance, strategic connections, and supportive resources tailored for the founders we back,” says Genna Keller, the founding board chair and Co-CEO of Trevelino/Keller. This collective vision positions TBH Angels as not only a source of capital but also as a dedicated growth partner for women entrepreneurs aiming to navigate the complexities of scaling their businesses.

To achieve its ambitious goals, TBH Angels has crafted two distinct membership pathways for investors. The Core Membership is targeted at accredited investors, with an annual membership fee set at $1,000, alongside a minimum investment commitment of $10,000 for two years. Core members gain exclusive access to a curated selection of female founders seeking investment, as well as exclusive pitching days, investor programming, and networking opportunities.

Meanwhile, for those looking to engage with the community without the immediate requirement to invest, TBH Angels offers a Collective Membership option. This entry-level membership, with annual dues of $500, allows individuals to participate in community events and offers a pathway to upgrade to Core Membership in the future.

In its quest for equity in entrepreneurship and innovation, TBH Angels invites accredited investors, women founders, strategic partners, and community advocates to join the movement. Upcoming events will focus heavily on education and community engagement, including the WEI Graduation scheduled for June 9th and Atlanta Tech Week on August 9th. The organization's inaugural pitch day is set for September 29th, with calls for founder applications and additional details expected to be released during the summer months.

Through a mix of educational programming, strategic capital deployment, and community-building initiatives, TBH Angels aims to provide female founders with meaningful pathways to secure funding, mentorship, and inclusive investor relationships. Ultimately, this initiative fosters a more robust and diversified startup ecosystem in which women’s leadership and innovation can thrive.
