BPM LLP, recognized as one of the top 35 public accounting and advisory firms in the United States, recently announced the appointment of Nick Steiner as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This move marks a significant step in the firm’s ongoing journey of growth and innovation, building on its solid foundation established over the years.
Leadership Transition
Steiner’s selection follows an extensive succession process led by the CEO Succession Committee and approved by BPM's Board of Directors. His extensive experience within the firm, which spans two decades, includes serving as the Chief Growth Officer and a Partner in Assurance and Advisory.

A Proven Background
Steiner joined BPM in 2006, accumulating over 25 years of experience in both public accounting and private industry. Prior to his role as Chief Growth Officer, he led the Advisory Practice Group and co-directed BPM’s Technology Industry Group. His accomplishments during his tenure include scaling the advisory practice from under $10 million to nearly $100 million, positioning BPM as a leader in technology-driven advisory services.
His diverse advisory experience encompasses sectors like semiconductor, software as a service (SaaS), life sciences, and manufacturing. He has been instrumental in guiding numerous companies through essential phases such as initial public offerings and complex financing arrangements.
Steiner holds an active CPA license in California along with being a Chartered Global Management Accountant. He earned both his B.S. in Finance from Santa Clara University and an M.S. in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame.
