Noetix Robotics' Stellar Performance at Global Humanoid Robotics Games
In a stunning display of ingenuity and skill, Noetix Robotics, a rapidly growing humanoid robotics company based in Beijing, achieved exceptional results at the Global Humanoid Robotics Games. The company walked away with
two gold medals and
one silver medal, placing third in the overall medal tally and reaffirming its dedication to robotic innovation.
At this prestigious event, Noetix showcased its humanoid robots, N2 and the newly introduced E1, across
nine competitive categories. These competitions highlighted not only their athletic capabilities but also their integration of cutting-edge technology. According to Zheyuan Jiang, Chairman of Noetix Robotics, "Our success at this year's games reflects the progress we've made and the path we've embarked on. Humanoid robots are more than just a technical breakthrough; they serve as a bridge between technology and human life."
The Rise of Robotics in Beijing
Beijing has become a notable hub for robotics, driven by strong governmental support and consistent investments in fundamental technologies and supply chains. The city's ecosystem is enriched by a dynamic array of robotics companies, bolstered by talent, funding, and facilities. Noetix Robotics has notably benefitted from significant governmental backing, which includes talent development initiatives, workspace provisions, and investment incentives.
The hosting of the Global Humanoid Robotics Games was instrumental in fostering a fair international competitive platform, stimulating technological advancement while piquing public interest in embodied intelligence. Impressively, all three teams earning the most medals this year received support from the Beijing Robotics Industry Development Fund, underscoring the city’s strategic engagement in this field.
Impressive Participation and Performance
Noetix Robotics participated extensively, entering
nine different competitions, including 100m, 400m, 1500m, 4x100m relay, hurdles, high jump, long jump, floor exercise, and solo dance. Their robots, the agile N2 and innovative E1, displayed remarkable versatility in both athletic and artistic categories.
- - N2 Specifications: The N2 features 18 degrees of freedom, a lightweight design, an operational time of one to two hours, and can achieve a maximum running speed of 3.2 m/s. Utilizing self-developed movement control algorithms, the N2 can adapt to complex terrains and perform advanced movements such as flips and sprints. Its affordability has made it popular in educational and research sectors, as well as for dynamic demonstrations.
- - E1 Specifications: The E1, a sophisticated biped humanoid, stands at 1.36 meters tall and has 21 degrees of freedom, including extended arms and waist flexibility. With a running speed of 1.2 m/s and a similar operational time of one to two hours, the E1 is powered by multimodal AI, synchronizing speech, facial expressions, and body movements with low latency, thus enabling multilingual interactions and emotional expressions. Additionally, its 48V low-power system facilitates memory, personality development, and immersive engagement, allowing for customizable appearances and personas. With modular features like dexterous hands and advanced arms, the E1 is among the most versatile humanoid robots in its class.
Record-Breaking Achievements
On the competition field, Noetix Robotics not only showcased athletic prowess but also cultural flair, capturing
two gold medals and one silver. The E1 secured gold in the long jump with an impressive distance of
1.25 meters, while the N2 outshined the competition in floor exercise, earning
41.60 points—a record high. The silver medal was attained in solo dance, where Noetix collaborated with the Beijing Dance Academy, performing a traditional folk dance from the Chaozhou-Shantou region, achieving
95.30 points, missing gold by a mere
0.1 points.
A Forward-Looking Vision
With its eyes set on the future, Noetix Robotics is dedicated to integrating humanoid robots into daily life, where they will serve as companions, helpers, and household assistants. The company plans to enhance the athletic and functional capabilities of its robots, transitioning them from laboratories and competitions to real-world applications that enrich everyday experiences.
