Starting in June, pet enthusiasts can enjoy the newly released Koneko Cup in a practical and fun clear version. The new clear model features superior visibility, allowing users to monitor the contents easily. Made from polymethylpentene, this lightweight material is designed for effortless cleaning and drainage, making it microwave safe for versatile use in the kitchen. It minimizes color transfer issues, and you can adjust the placement of fruits in jellies with ease. Meanwhile, the beige, black, and white models in the bio-series are crafted from biomass plastic, which is sustainable and environmentally friendly—half of the material consists of organic substances like bamboo.

Designer Yuka Morii, known for her creativity in character design and three-dimensional modeling, states, "The power of cats is immense. They bring a sense of tranquility just by being around. By making this cup smaller, it's now easier to carry, and it fits beautifully in smaller spaces like desks or bookshelves. I want everyone to enjoy gazing at these super cute cats!"

The Koneko Cup by +d is priced at ¥2,200 (tax included), measuring approximately W75 x D85 x H85 mm and weighing around 25g for the clear version, and 35-40g for the bio versions. It’s designed to withstand temperatures of up to 150°C and -20°C for the clear model, and 100°C and -20°C for the bio options. Both varieties are dishwasher safe.
