ARISE Analytics Moves Headquarters to Takanawa Gateway City for Enhanced Collaboration

ARISE Analytics Relocation

In a strategic move aimed at amplifying collaboration and efficiency, ARISE Analytics has announced its decision to relocate its headquarters to the 10th floor of ‘Takanawa Gateway City THE LINKPILLAR 1 NORTH’ in Minato, Tokyo, effective January 19, 2026. This transition aligns ARISE more closely with KDDI, which is headquartered in the same vibrant urban hub, fostering stronger synergies between the two entities to better address customer challenges.

Background on ARISE Analytics

Founded in February 2017 as a joint venture between KDDI and Accenture, ARISE Analytics has steadily grown by leveraging KDDI's extensive domestic data resources complemented by Accenture's international expertise in consulting and cutting-edge practices. The move is part of a larger vision to strengthen the partnership within the KDDI Group, enabling ARISE to push forward its growth trajectory and innovation initiatives.

To facilitate a seamless transition, the company kicked off a participatory project in October 2023, wherein employees contributed to discussions on the ideal office design. This collaborative approach reflects ARISE Analytics' commitment to creating a workspace that embodies its culture and operational ethos.

Features of the New Headquarters

1. Promoting Enhanced Communication

To foster better communication across departments and hierarchical levels, ARISE Analytics will implement a hot-desking system. Continuing its successful concept from the Shibuya Hikarie office, the new headquarters will feature hexagonal tables and an ARISE café. This setup is designed to naturally facilitate spontaneous interactions among employees.

At the entrance, a lounge area will showcase a cubic representation of the ARISE Analytics logo, symbolizing the company’s mission to extract value from vast datasets and its inclusive workplace culture where team members from diverse backgrounds collaborate effectively.

The overall design, furniture selection, and interior layout will be undertaken by Shuhei Kamiya, a recipient of the Japan Architectural Academy’s Newcomer Award and iF DESIGN AWARD, and his team at Kamiya Architects. The construction will be managed by Kokuyo Corporation, ensuring a sophisticated and functional environment.

The meeting rooms will be designed with glass walls to promote transparency and open communication, allowing for a dynamic exchange of ideas.

2. A Space for Learning and Growth

The new headquarters will also include an expansive training facility, dedicated to hosting internal training sessions and tech workshops. This large collaborative space will serve as a platform for continuous learning and knowledge sharing among data scientists, enhancing their skills and supporting their professional development.

3. Fostering a Focused Environment

In a bid to encourage deep thinking and concentration, a dedicated area will be established where meetings are prohibited. This quiet zone will be optimized for tasks that require significant cognitive engagement.

Additional Amenities

As part of employee welfare initiatives, ARISE staff will have access to KDDI’s employee cafeteria and dining services, further enhancing the workplace experience.
