Hisense Unveils AI-Driven Companion Living Concept at IFA 2026

At the IFA 2026 exhibition, Hisense, a frontrunner in global consumer electronics and home appliances, showcased an impressive vision for the future of home living through its AI-based Companion Living concept. With a theme resonating with "Innovating a Brighter Life," this initiative aims to leverage artificial intelligence in our daily activities, enhancing convenience and personalization.

The cornerstone of this initiative is V AIOS, an advanced iteration of Hisense's VIDAA OS. V AIOS is characterized by its ability to perceive, think, communicate, and act – four core AI capabilities that allow it to understand people, monitor devices and contexts, engage in seamless communication with users and between devices, and coordinate content, devices, and services autonomously. This intelligent framework aims to create a more intuitive basis for smart living, centering around human needs.

The AI Companion Suite builds on this foundation, bringing smart solutions to three vital areas of everyday life: cooking, laundry, and air and energy management. In the kitchen, for example, the system integrates intelligence throughout the cooking space, ensuring a hassle-free culinary experience. The kitchen intelligently recognizes individual taste preferences and available ingredients, allowing it to suggest recipes and guide users through the cooking processes, all based on what is currently in the fridge.

Similarly, in laundry handling, AI technology removes uncertainty around fabric care. It identifies fabric types and aligns washing and drying cycles to maintain optimal care for garments. Meanwhile, in the living space, the UR9 model acts as a gateway to a connected home, juggling comfort with energy management to adjust airflow and ambient conditions based on the personal needs and current surroundings of residents.

These innovations demonstrate how AI can transcend the functionalities of individual smart devices to become a proactive, personalized aspect of everyday life.

Beyond domestic advancements, Hisense announced its continued partnership with UEFA for EURO 2028, marking its fourth successive collaboration with the prestigious football tournament following previous agreements in 2016, 2020, and 2024. This reinforces Hisense’s commitment to bridging everyday life with grand global sporting events, all while striving to fulfill its vision of "Innovating a Brighter Life" through technology that connects people.

Founded in 1969, Hisense has established itself as a globally recognized leader in appliances and consumer electronics, operating in over 180 countries. The company specializes in delivering high-quality multimedia products, home appliances, and intelligent IT solutions. According to Omdia, Hisense leads the global market in televisions with screen sizes of 100 inches and above for the period 2023 to the first half of 2026. By pioneering RGB MiniLED technology, Hisense is charting the course for next-generation innovations in this domain. Furthermore, as an official sponsor of the FIFA World Cup 2026, Hisense is committed to engaging with audiences worldwide through strategic global partnerships.
