William Neider, P.E., as the
National Mining and Reclamation Practice Manager. This pivotal role positions him at the forefront of enhancing the company's
Abandoned Mine Lands (AML) business and aims to broaden their outreach within the mining sector.
With
Decades of Expertise in the mining field, Neider brings nearly 30 years of experience to this new position. His extensive background includes managing and designing infrastructure across diverse sectors, ranging from commercial and military to residential and educational projects. His journey with Michael Baker began in 2009 when he joined as a Project Manager, progressively advancing firstly to Land Development Manager and then to Director of Land Development.
Neider's Vision for Growth
Neider's focus will be on partnering with private mining operators alongside multiple state abandoned mine reclamation agencies. The objective? To broaden the clientele and open new avenues within the mining and reclamation sectors. In collaboration with Office Executives and Regional Directors, he plans to foster strong local partnerships and deploy cross-office teams aimed at driving
community-focused reclamation programs nationwide.
