Day & Zimmermann Launches National Intelligence Division

On September 17, 2025, Day & Zimmermann (D&Z) proudly introduced the National Intelligence Division (NID), marking a significant advancement in its mission to enhance national security. This newly established division promises to deliver comprehensive intelligence capabilities designed to tackle complex and evolving threats with both agility and precision.

Having decades of experience collaborating with the Intelligence Community (IC), D&Z has long been a valued partner in fulfilling the U.S. National Intelligence Mission. The establishment of the NID is a testament to the company's ongoing commitment to aiding intelligence partners and security organizations, ensuring they can respond effectively to the rapidly changing security landscape.

The National Intelligence Division leverages real-time threat assessments, sophisticated data analytics, a secure infrastructure, and integrated technology to safeguard the homeland. It aims to enhance protective operations, architecture, engineering, cleared staffing, and advanced engineering consulting services, all while helping to fortify the U.S. National Security Mission.

Leading the NID is an accomplished team that includes former CIA Senior Intelligence Officer Shawn Roslin, who now serves as Vice President of National Intel Division and International Programs. Alongside him are Rachel Toner, Senior Director of Mission Solutions for Intelligence, and Dr. Heather Zurburg, Principal Analyst. This team's wealth of experience and strategic insights is geared towards strengthening national security.

Adding to this expertise is Dr. Heather Zurburg, who has over a decade of experience across law enforcement and the Department of Defense. Her strategic role involves tactical targeting and assessments, making her an invaluable asset in shaping NID’s intelligence efforts.

The NID is set to work in close collaboration with D&Z's Government Services Advisory Board, which consists of top leaders from the Intelligence Community. This collaboration aims to enhance the support provided to various federal agencies and elevate their mission effectiveness.

Doug Magee, President of Day & Zimmermann Government Services, remarked, “With decades of experience partnering with the Intelligence Community, we are proud to build on that legacy. Our commitment to helping the U.S. Government anticipate and respond to tomorrow's challenges is unwavering.”
