From October 23 to November 16, 2025, an exciting event will unfold in Tokyo, allowing participants to experience the vibrant locales of Marunouchi, Tokyo Station, and Nihonbashi through the magic of storytelling. Hosted by Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd., the Tokyo Station City Management Association, and Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd., the event titled Tokyo Ekimachi Monogatari invites you to immerse yourself in captivating narratives as you stroll through the iconic streets of these districts.

Concept of the Event

The event combines a unique listening experience with urban exploration. Three original short stories have been commissioned from established author Akira Sano. Each narrative will offer a glimpse into the everyday lives of fictional characters set against the backdrop of real shops and landmarks in the area. Renowned voice actors Junya Enoki and Miku Ito will lend their talents to narrate the stories, allowing participants to connect with the protagonists and experience their journeys firsthand.

The Stories

• - Story 1: 'Marunouchi, Afternoon Sunshine'

Follow the protagonist, Yuki Takase, who finds herself unexpectedly free after a canceled presentation. While wandering the artistic streets of Marunouchi, she learns to unwind and appreciate the beauty around her.

• - Story 2: 'Hungry Heart'

Join Kaito Miura, a newcomer in Tokyo who arrives at Tokyo Station, excited for his upcoming appointment. He explores food spots unique to the city, feeling a mix of excitement and overwhelm as he embraces city life.

• - Story 3: 'Wavering'

Yuma Fujii enjoys exploring the historic streets near his workplace in Nihonbashi. However, a chance encounter at a local cafe leads him to an unexpected adventure that changes his perspective.

How to Participate

1. Start Your Journey

Each story starts from a designated point where you can tap an NFC-enabled poster to collect a stamp and start the audio narration. Be sure to bring your own smartphone and earphones.

2. Enjoy Your Walk

As you listen to the story, walk along the designated path and immerse yourself in the experience.

3. Conclude Your Tour

Upon finishing the story, reach the end point, tap the NFC to collect another stamp, and answer a questionnaire to enter a prize draw associated with the story's setting.
