HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Series Unveils Exclusive Watch Faces for Venice Biennale
HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Series Launches Exclusive Watch Faces for Venice Biennale
The 19th Venice Architecture Biennale is set to run from May 10 to November 23, 2025, showcasing a fascinating blend of art and technology. Huawei's partnership as the Chief Intelligence Technology Partner for the China Pavilion underlines this theme by integrating innovative products such as the HUAWEI Mate X6, HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2 inch PaperMatte Edition, and HUAWEI MatePad Pro 13.2 inch PaperMatte Edition into the design of the pavilion. This integration aims to highlight China's architectural heritage through modern smart technologies.
To further celebrate this collaboration, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 series introduced three exclusive watch faces inspired by the installations showcased at the Biennale. These watch faces aim to infuse the essence of architectural and artistic aesthetics into everyday life, offering users a unique way to experience the fusion of art and technology.
Exclusive Watch Faces
1. The Dunhuang Con-stella-tion Watch Face
This watch face is inspired by the installation "Dunhuang Con-stella-tion" by Atelier Alter Architects. Emphasizing Dunhuang’s historical significance as a crossroads of civilizations along the Silk Road, it reflects how diverse cultures merged to create new forms of art. The installation presents Dunhuang as a futuristic floating city that embodies the harmonious blend of various cultures and the ethereal beauty of mists.
2. The Vault of Heaven Watch Face
Derived from Wang Zigeng's installation "Vault of Heaven," this watch face plays with the traditional architectural element of the "caisson ceiling," reimagined using recycled green nets from Chinese construction sites. The dynamic design incorporates bamboo weaving, a form of intangible cultural heritage, and creates a mesmerizing visual similar to a phenakistoscope. This watch face is a tribute to ancient architectural representations while narrating a continuous story reflecting China's unique philosophy of nature.
3. City in China - Nature of All Things Watch Face
This watch face draws inspiration from WAY studio’s installation, imagining a futuristic city where the natural environment seamlessly integrates with urban architecture. This innovative design proposes a new aesthetic for skyscraper connectivity through an advanced transport system, significantly reducing energy consumption. The artwork also symbolizes organic growth in buildings, likening them to living organisms.
Huawei leverages these watch faces to seamlessly align with the "CO-EXIST" theme of the China Pavilion, effectively bridging the gap between art, architecture, and wearable technology. This innovative approach is aimed at pushing the boundaries of cultural expression. Users of the HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 series now have the opportunity to experience these unique watch faces, elegantly merging Eastern aesthetics with smart living functionality.
In its continuous commitment to an open, diverse, and international outlook, Huawei draws inspiration from global artistic movements, constantly exploring the limitless possibilities of design. The company remains dedicated to groundbreaking advancements in technological aesthetics, with the goal of delivering high-quality stylish tech experiences to consumers worldwide, enabling them to embrace a more personalized lifestyle.
