Join the Exciting Traffic Safety Quiz and Activities at Gas Science Museum

The Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) Tokyo Branch, led by Director Kazuo Kato, is excited to announce a special event at the gas science-themed museum, _Gasutena-_ni_, on August 21st (Friday) and August 22nd (Saturday). This gathering coincides with the summer event titled "Puka Poka Pika's Memories Festival: Onward to the Next Future!" and is part of JAF's initiative to promote traffic safety awareness.

During these two days, attendees of all ages will have the opportunity to engage in an interactive quiz competition, _"Safety Go!"_, designed to educate participants about crucial traffic rules in a fun and informative way. There will also be a unique crafting workshop where you can create your very own _"Pupopirekka car"_ along with a special greeting session featuring JAF's eco-driving character, _Eko-ten-kun._

JAF's Commitment

JAF Tokyo has shared insights and collaborated closely with the museum in previous years, successfully participating in the Spring event in March 2026. As the museum prepares to close its doors at the end of September, JAF aims to energetically contribute to the final summer event, leaving attendees with unforgettable memories. The collaborative efforts encourage and foster a deeper understanding of traffic rules among visitors, while also providing enjoyable content through workshops and character meet-and-greets.

Event Highlights

1. Interactive Traffic Safety Quiz: "Safety Go!"
Participants will answer quiz questions that relate to everyday activities and outings, offering essential traffic safety knowledge in a fun, engaging format. Collaboratively organized with the museum, the quiz will run at the following times:
- (1) 11:00 AM
- (2) 2:30 PM
- (3) 3:30 PM
Each session lasts approximately 25 minutes.

2. Crafting Workshop: "Run, Pupopirekka Car!"
Join this creative session using paper cups to craft a unique vehicle! The finished product moves like a pull-back car and features JAF's character riding along. This original activity is a collaboration between JAF and the museum. Workshop times are:
- (1) 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM (while supplies last)
- (2) 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM

3. Meet and Greet with Eco-Driving Character "Eko-ten-kun"
Celebrating the museum's display about eco-driving, visitors can meet JAF's beloved character, _Eko-ten-kun_. Guests are welcome to take photos with this friendly mascot.
