Revolutionizing the Office Experience at CNS
In the modern work environment, where commuting to the office is no longer a mandatory practice, companies are reimagining the workplace. One such company,
CNS Corporation, has taken significant strides in transforming its office into a space that not only encourages employees to come in but also enhances the overall presentation experience for visitors.
A Vision for Collaboration
CNS Corporation, based in Shinagawa, Tokyo, is a comprehensive IT solutions provider that supports businesses with IT infrastructure, cloud services, and security systems. As
CNS relocated to a new office, they emphasized creating an environment conducive to communication and collaboration. They aimed to offer clients an innovative way to understand their offerings while fostering a space that employees naturally gravitate toward.
To achieve these goals, CNS enlisted the help of
Immersive, an experiential design firm, which implemented two state-of-the-art installations:
Immersive Engine and
Immersive Magic Wall. These technologies turned the new office from merely a place to work into an immersive, engaging environment that employees and stakeholders want to experience.
Enhancing Engagement and Appeal
CNS's approach to employee engagement has evolved due to a shift to a flexible work model where in-person attendance isn't obligatory. Yet, the company recognized the need for a workspace that would invite and encourage employees back into the office. Thus, the design of their new workplace focused on creating an inviting atmosphere where employees want to gather and collaborate.
The growing demand for compelling client presentations also led to the necessity of a novel presentation environment. Traditional projectors often failed to deliver the required impact and clarity, especially in bright office settings. Thus,
CNS sought innovative solutions that would elevate both employee collaboration and visitor presentations.
Experiential Design and Immersive Technologies
The collaboration with
Immersive began when a representative from
CNS visited their
Ebisu showroom to experience the potential of the
Immersive Engine and
Magic Wall firsthand. The demonstration showcased:
- - High contrast visuals vibrant enough to stand out in well-lit environments.
- - A seamless projection that spans from floor to ceiling, creating a captivating immersive experience.
- - Unparalleled expressiveness that distinguishes it from standard projectors.
The feedback from the showroom experience was overwhelmingly positive and confirmed their decision to adopt these technologies. At the new office, the projection area, enhanced by the
Immersive Magic Wall, became the focal point for meetings, presentations, and events, allowing for a versatile, immersive presentation atmosphere.
Key Features of the Immersive Office Space
1.
Immersion: The
Immersive Magic Wall employs quantum dot paint technology that delivers striking contrast, enhancing both dark and light areas for clear visuals. This innovation eliminates the common issue of washed-out images associated with traditional white walls, ensuring that both visuals and textual information are easily discernible.
2.
Seamless Integration: The office design prioritized the ability to share screens from any location within the space effortlessly.
CNS implemented:
- HDMI ports accessible from the projection surfaces.
- Wireless transmission devices for cable-free projection.
- Additional HDMI ports integrated into both the stage and walls.
This seamless integration has resulted in significantly smoother meetings, removing cumbersome obstacles that often slow down collaboration during presentations.
3.
Cohesion: The design process focused on reversing engineering the needs of users, ensuring multi-purpose use and adaptability. System components were designed with future growth in mind, allowing for easy expansion and cost-effective maintenance, resulting in an integrated workspace.
