Cats & Soup Unveils Festive Christmas Updates and Special Events This December

The popular mobile game, Cats & Soup, developed by NEOWIZ, has rolled out exciting Christmas-themed updates this December. On December 4, the team introduced the "Magical Christmas" update, and another major update is planned for December 18, themed around the "Sugar Fairy Festival." This series of updates aims to bring a cozy and festive atmosphere to players during the holiday season.

Exciting Christmas Updates

The recent update reflects the charming ambiance of Christmas with the introduction of a new forest theme called "Sugar Fairy's Forest." When players use this theme in their worlds, they can discover various elements, including special effects, non-playable characters (NPCs), and hidden Easter eggs. Additionally, collectibles known as "Lollipops" can be gathered, which can be exchanged for limited-edition costumes at a newly opened shop.

Moreover, a special event titled "Kitten's Travel Destination" is being hosted until January 7, 2026. Players can participate in a gacha event to win pieces of travel destination photos, allowing them to unlock six new travel locations and two new kitten costumes. The gacha event also provides exclusive items for the "Wandering Workshop," enabling the acquisition of limited decoration items such as the Christmas-themed forest, "Sugar Fairy's Forest," and a festive tree named "Christmas White Tree."

Log In for Festive Rewards

To enhance the holiday spirit, NEOWIZ has initiated a login event called "Magical Christmas Week." Throughout December, players simply need to log in to receive a plethora of rewards, including gems, costumes, and observatory tickets.

Enhancements Based on Player Feedback

In response to player suggestions, NEOWIZ has improved the overall usability of the game. New features like saving and loading mini-room designs have been introduced, allowing players to share their decorated mini-rooms with others. Enhancements also include the ability to create presets for mini-rooms and adjust furniture layers. The Christmas-themed magnet board has been added to the "Kitten's Travel Destination" section, and improvements to certain functionalities in the "Kitten Observatory" have also been made.

Adorable Limited-Edition Cats and New Facilities

In line with the festive updates, a limited-edition cat named "Sugar Powder Maine Coon," inspired by cotton candy, has been introduced. This special cat can be acquired through in-game content like the Observatory and Kitten's Travel until January 7, 2026. New facilities such as "Cocoa Peeling" and "A Cup of Cocoa" have also been added to enhance the gameplay experience.

Additionally, season-themed costumes, along with new friends and facility skins, are available through the "Season Limited Package," and various gem packages can be purchased until January 7, 2026.
