Overall, the year-to-date sales reached a staggering total of 636,148 units, indicating a remarkable 9% growth over 2024.

Key Highlights of Third Quarter Sales

Kia's strong performance can be attributed to significant growth in various vehicle categories. Notably, electrified models showcased a 26% increase in sales, while sedan sales witnessed a 19% rise, and SUVs contributed with a 6% uptick. This diverse range of vehicles meets the evolving preferences of consumers, solidifying Kia's position in the competitive automotive market.

The EV9, Kia's all-electric model, set records for both monthly and quarterly sales, with 3,094 units sold in September and an impressive 7,510 units sold in the quarter. This success highlights the brand's commitment to sustainable mobility and electric vehicle technology.

Several Kia models have recorded significant year-over-year growth. The K5 experienced an 85% increase, while the Carnival and Telluride saw sales rise by 48% and 13% respectively. The Sportage and Sorento also contributed positively with gains of 13% and 7%. Furthermore, the K4 managed a modest increase of 4%, demonstrating the broad appeal of Kia’s diverse lineup.

He stated, "These best-ever sales performances set the Kia brand on a path to achieve yet another annual sales record and the highest-ever market share. The double-digit increases in our electrified and sedan models indicate the competitive strength of Kia's offerings."
