The March of 2025 is set to be a memorable time for anime fans as Hanayashiki, Japan's oldest amusement park, gears up for an exhilarating event. From June 18 to June 30, the park is hosting a special collaboration with the beloved TV anime, 'Majin Sōzōden Wataru'. This is an opportunity to explore the magical world of Wataru while enjoying all that Hanayashiki has to offer.

Unique Attractions and Events

This event will see the main characters, Wataru Hoshibe and Kakeru Tenbu, brought to life through exclusive illustrations that depict them having a great time at the park. Attendees will undoubtedly enjoy the original characters featured in promotional visuals, which will be utilized in merchandise and food offerings available throughout the venue.

Original Merchandise and Food Specials

To enrich the visitor experience, a variety of original goods will be up for sale, all inspired by the collaboration artwork. Guests can grab exclusive merchandise from the 'Maruhana Shōten' souvenir store, operating from 10:00 AM to 5:50 PM. Notably, if you spend 2,000 yen (including tax), you will receive a mini-poster featuring original artwork to take home.

Alongside merchandise, a selection of themed food and drinks will be available. Each food item purchased will come with a random 'Majin' sticker, adding an extra layer of joy to your meal.

Key Activities

One of the featured activities is the Keyword Rally, where participants will traverse the park in search of clues. If you complete this treasure hunt, you’ll receive a limited edition big can badge as a reward. Participation costs 600 yen (including tax), and you can take part in up to five rounds.

Special Attractions

Hanayashiki has designed unique attractions specifically for this event that are tailored around the themes from 'Majin Sōzōden Wataru'. There will be the 'Maruhana Yennichi', a fun experience reminiscent of festival games where you can take on challenges. Those who succeed can win an original B5 clear file as a prize.

Additionally, visitors can train with real swords at the 'Maruhana Kenjutsu Dojo'. This activity gives the chance to experience martial arts while earning an 'Original Training Completion Certificate' for memory.

Special Announcements

A major highlight of the event will be the newly recorded announcements by Wataru (voiced by Mutsumi Tamura) and Kakeru (voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki) that will be played throughout the park. These announcements, scheduled hourly, promise to immerse fans deeper into the Wataru universe.

Special Appearances

On the weekends of June 28 and 29, attendees can look forward to meeting Ryuujinmaru in person! This character will make special appearances for photo opportunities at the park's Flower Stage, a dream come true for fans of the franchise.
