On November 3rd, 2025, the institute proudly announced the addition of Dr. Yasir Alsaraf, a highly qualified medical oncologist and hematologist, to its Tampa Cancer Center team, located at 3402 W. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Tampa, FL.

Dr. Alsaraf brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the field of oncology. His extensive training includes a medical degree from the University of Jordan School of Medicine, followed by a residency in internal medicine at Wayne State University in Detroit, where he held the position of chief resident. He further pursued fellowship training in hematology and medical oncology at Henry Ford Health – Providence/MSU in Southfield, Michigan. Dr. Alsaraf’s commitment to oncology is fueled by the discipline's unique combination of scientific rigor and the profound human connection it fosters. He believes in accompanying patients through their healthcare journeys, focusing on achieving optimal outcomes throughout their treatment.
