Resonant Clinical Solutions Expands Global Reach with Labfish Acquisition

Resonant Clinical Solutions Expands Its Global Operations Through Labfish Acquisition

Resonant Clinical Solutions, a prominent global partner specializing in clinical solutions for life sciences organizations, has taken a significant step in enhancing its operations with the acquisition of Labfish rental solutions GmbH. This union not only broadens Resonant’s footprint in Europe but also adds specialized calibration expertise and robust logistical capabilities to support the evolution of complex clinical trials worldwide.

Strategic Acquisition for Growth

On October 3, 2026, Resonant announced that it has acquired Labfish, along with its American and British subsidiaries, which together provide comprehensive rental and calibration solutions for clinical and laboratory equipment. The strategic acquisition allows Resonant to better meet the growing complexities of clinical trial programs across the globe, equipped with specialized and sought-after skills.

Founded in Hamburg, Germany, Labfish offers a vast array of laboratory equipment for rent, including scales, freezers, refrigerators, infusion pumps, and monitors, as well as the latest calibration expertise. Additionally, Labfish provides official importer (IOR) and official exporter (EOR) services, combined with high-end logistics that ensure direct delivery to patients. This acquisition aims to facilitate clinical trial operations in over 70 countries by leveraging Labfish’s collaborations with partner warehouses in Argentina, Israel, Turkey, and China.

Enhancing Clinical Solutions with Expertise

According to Christophe Berthoux, CEO of Resonant Clinical Solutions, integrating Labfish into Resonant's Equipment and Ancillaries (EA) division will not only expand its European presence but also enhance the calibration and import-export services it offers. This move reinforces the world-class clinical trial solutions the company provides to its clients, aligning with the constantly evolving needs of the life sciences industry.

“The capabilities that Labfish brings to Resonant allow us to further our strategy to support the global clinical journey,” said Berthoux. The continuous growth in clinical trial complexity requires specialized equipment and operations that can adapt to the shifting demands of research protocols and workflows.

Commitment to Innovation and Quality

Labfish's operations, which got started in 2014 and are ISO 9001 certified, include one of the largest internal calibration centers for clinical trials in Europe. This prestigious reputation will be integrated into Resonant's existing EA services, providing partners with a solid offering and technical expertise in Europe as their development programs expand.

Martin Forster, founder of Labfish, emphasized the benefits of joining forces with Resonant, stating, “This partnership allows our team to further develop our calibration expertise and the logistics and import-export services we have cultivated over the years.” He expressed excitement about bringing technical expertise and valuable client relationships to the larger entity.

Financial Aspects and Future Outlook

The financial terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed; however, the strategic fit points towards a significant growth trajectory for both companies. By merging their resources, Resonant aims to streamline clinical supply chain management and enhance the lifecycle management of samples crucial for clinical development.
