Once Upon a Katamari: A New Adventure Awaits!

The whimsical world of Once Upon a Katamari is about to get even more exciting! Bandai Namco Entertainment has just unveiled their plans for a free update and a new downloadable content (DLC) pack for the beloved game available on Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and STEAM®. This announcement comes alongside news of engaging special events scheduled in Japan.

What's New in the Game?

The upcoming content includes a free update featuring the "Hanaumi Saki Nari-Kiri Set (Prince Exclusive)" which allows players to don special items while embodying the main character, the Prince. This content will be available to all players, irrespective of whether they purchase the DLC or not.

Additionally, fans can look forward to the Katamari Dance Dance Remix Pack DLC, which will feature five remixed tracks, including:

• - Ain't No Katamari - Ending Theme [Shinpei Nasuno Remix]
• - Lonely Rolling Star [picco Remix]
• - Bright Red Rose and Gin and Tonic [Haretokidoki Remix]
• - Moon and Prince [Tatsunoshin Remix]

Alongside the music, players can unlock fun accessories like candy sticks, backpacks, and even cool capes just to name a few!

Katamari Collaboration Cafe: To celebrate the releases, an exciting event is planned at the "Katamari Collaboration Cafe" located in Osaka’s Shinsaibashi PARCO. On November 24 (public holiday), fans can meet their favorite characters during a special greeting event featuring costume mascots of the Prince and Ichigo-chan! This unique experience complements the cafe’s special menus and exclusive merchandise inspired by the Katamari universe. The cafe is open from October 24 to December 1, offering delightful treats and plenty of Instagram-worthy decorations.

Special Purchaser Campaign

For those who purchase Once Upon a Katamari, a wonderful original novelty will be gifted! This campaign will also be available for online purchases made on-site during the cafe event.
