This summer, prepare for an extraordinary celebration as “Yaechika,” the underground shopping paradise, marks its 60th anniversary with an exciting collaboration with the popular anime series “Osomatsu-san.” From August 8 to August 17, 2025, visitors can dive into the unique world of the Matsuno sextuplets at the “Let's Have a Summer Festival, the Yaechika 60 Festival!”

Event Overview

The event is set to be a grand affair featuring six main attractions that will transform Yaechika into a lively summer festival environment. Expect traditional games, original displays, and appearances by the beloved sextuplets in costume! A special illustrated design showcasing the Matsuno brothers in adorable festival attire featuring the number '6' will be displayed, celebrating this significant milestone.

1. Enjoy Unique Festival Games

The Osomatsu brothers are bringing their quirky rules to the traditional Japanese festival games. Participants can take part in these remarkable games at the festival and win exclusive “Yaechika x Osomatsu-san” merchandise based on the points they accumulate. To join, simply register as a friend with the official Yaechika LINE account and show receipts from participating stores to play!

• - Hours: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• - Location: Yaechika Terrace
• - Participation Steps: 1) Register on the Yaechika LINE account (@yaechika); 2) Show a receipt from one of the participating stores for purchases over 1,000 yen to challenge a game.

2. Exclusive Broadcasting by Osomatsu and Karamatsu

Adding to the festival atmosphere, the voices of the first and second Matsuno brothers, Osomatsu (voiced by Takahiro Sakurai) and Karamatsu (voiced by Yuichi Nakamura), will take over the announcements in Yaechika, bringing a unique original dialogue to the experience.

3. Life-Size Panels for Photo Opportunities

4. Stamping Campaign

In an engaging twist, attendees will hunt for solo posters of the Matsuno sextuplets placed at six locations within Yaechika. Completing a stamp card can lead to winning original wallpapers as well as shopping vouchers for the lucky ones chosen from a drawing.

5. Meet and Greet with the Sextuplets

On August 16, 2025, life-sized mascots of the Matsuno brothers will stroll through Yaechika, allowing fans to freely capture memorable moments during a photo session.
