Innovative Mobility Solutions Unveiled by LG Innotek at CES 2025

LG Innotek to Showcase Mobility Innovations at CES 2025

LG Innotek, a leader in automotive technologies, is set to present its pioneering innovations at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025 in Las Vegas. The event, occurring from January 7 to 10, will put a spotlight on LG Innotek's cutting-edge solutions in the field of mobility.

During a pre-show tour held on January 6, the company unveiled its impressive booth, which spans approximately 3,500 square meters and is strategically located at the entrance to the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. This year's CES theme for LG Innotek revolves around mobility, showcasing how its innovative technologies can enhance future automotive experiences.

A representative from LG Innotek remarked, "Our goal is to highlight unique solutions that provide significant customer value in the mobility sector." By adopting a storytelling approach, the exhibition is designed to immerse visitors in an interactive experience that demonstrates how these technologies can be integrated into daily driving.

At the heart of the booth will be a mockup of a futuristic vehicle equipped with 15 different components that cover essential areas such as vehicle sensing, communication, and lighting. Notably among these innovations will be the RGB-IR In-Cabin Camera Module, a product debuting exclusively at CES 2025. This module is equipped with a 5-megapixel RGB (red, green, blue) and infrared sensor, capable of real-time monitoring of driver conditions, such as drowsiness, and ensuring the safety of all passengers by checking seat belt usage in both the front and rear rows.

Additionally, LG Innotek will present its All-Weather Camera Solution, which integrates advanced dust-cleaning functionality with a high-performance heating camera. This is crucial for maintaining visibility and ensuring that safety systems function effectively under various weather conditions.

The company is also unveiling a suite of vehicle communication technologies based on its proprietary wireless communication capabilities. Key highlights include the 5G-V2X Communication Module and the Next-Generation Digital Key Solution that employs Ultra-Wideband (UWB) radar technology. Furthermore, the Automotive AP Module – a component critical to the operation of Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs) – will be showcased, featuring functionalities that centralize various automotive electronic systems, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Digital Cockpits.

Also during the event, LG Innotek will spotlight the award-winning Nexlide A+, a vehicle lighting module that has received recognition for its innovative design. Among Nexlide's features is the ability to create dynamic text and animations via Pixel Lighting, paired with Smart Film technology, allowing for greater flexibility in vehicle design.

A further exciting innovation is the B-Link (Battery Link), touted as the world's first wireless Battery Management System (BMS) integrated with a Battery Junction Box (BJB). This cutting-edge product is becoming increasingly vital for electric vehicles, offering efficiency and maximized space within battery packs, while being compatible with both 400V and 800V charging systems.

In addressing the company’s expectations for CES, CEO Moon Hyuksoo stated, "We aim to expand our client base and seize new business opportunities during this event." He emphasized LG Innotek's commitment to evolving as a total solution provider in future mobility.

Moreover, LG Innotek will launch an online exhibition center on its official website that mirrors their physical booth at CES 2025. This digital platform will provide in-depth product information, showcasing videos and details, allowing online visitors to engage with the exhibition as if they were present in person.

As technology continues to advance rapidly, LG Innotek's showcase at CES 2025 stands as a testament to its dedication to shaping the future of mobility with innovative solutions and groundbreaking technologies. Enthusiasts and industry professionals alike can expect to see how these innovations will redefine the driving experience in the years ahead.
