Relaxed Classical Concert Series: "Easy Classical!"



If you've ever wanted to experience classical music in a more approachable way, look no further! The Kiyose Keyaki Hall, organized by Actio Co., Ltd., is hosting a series of three concerts aptly named "Easy Classical!". Designed with beginners in mind, this series combines charming musical performances with engaging narratives to elevate your concert experience.

Concert Details


The following concerts will take place at the Kiyose Keyaki Hall, located in the heart of Kiyose, Tokyo:

  • - July 26, 2025 (Saturday) at 14:00
Piano Concert featuring Iwasaki Junna
- Pieces to be performed include:
- Chopin’s Ballade No. 1
- Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue (Four hands)

  • - October 25, 2025 (Saturday) at 14:00
Saxophone Concert featuring Sumitani Miho
- Pieces to be performed include:
- Desmond’s Take Five
- Debussy’s Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune
- Schulhoff’s Hot Sonata

  • - February 23, 2026 (Monday, 祝日) at 14:00
Soprano Concert featuring Umezumi Ao
- Pieces to be performed include:
- Mozart’s Queen of the Night Aria from The Magic Flute
- Johann Strauss II’s Voices of Spring

Each concert runs for approximately 70 minutes with no intermission, allowing attendees to fully immerse themselves in the music.

Meet the Artists


The concerts feature three remarkable artists:

Iwasaki Junna (Piano)


Iwasaki graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts and later achieved top honors at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. An accomplished pianist, Iwasaki has numerous awards to her name, including the Diploma Award at the 16th International Chopin Piano Competition. She has performed extensively across Europe and the Middle East and is an artist with CHANEL Pygmalion Days.

Sumitani Miho (Saxophone)


Hailing from Ibaraki, Sumitani graduated with top honors from the Tokyo University of the Arts. She made history by being the first woman to win the International Saxophone Competition in Slovenia. With numerous accolades, including appearances in various media, Sumitani is rapidly gaining recognition as a rising star in the saxophone world.

Umezumi Ao (Soprano)


Umezumi, from Yamagata, graduated top of her class from the Vocal Performance Course at the Tokyo University of Music. She has impressed audiences in both Japan and overseas, including memorable roles in operas like The Magic Flute. Umezumi continues to expand her repertoire, with a successful concert career and collaborations with major orchestras.

Tickets are available on the Confetti platform and can be purchased online. The pricing structure is as follows:
  • - Single-day Ticket: 2,500 JPY
  • - Series Pass: 6,500 JPY (includes all three concerts)
