From August 22 to 24, 2023, a special kitchen car event dedicated to the theme of "Future Coffee Experience" will be held at the Shinjuku Takashimaya. This exciting event offers patrons the chance to taste hydrogen roasted coffee, a new frontier in coffee technology.

The event is organized by COFFEE STYLE UCC, a company based in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, that operates the UCC Café Mercato and Café Noval brands. These coffee shops specialize in high-quality coffee beans sourced from UCC's direct farms as well as designated origins. At the event, visitors can explore and enjoy the world’s first mass-produced hydrogen roasted coffee, made possible by UCC’s innovative technologies.

The kitchen car will feature:
1. Hydrogen Roasted Coffee Tastings: Guests can enjoy both hydrogen roasted coffee and traditional roasted coffee side by side. A dedicated café space will allow attendees to relax and relish this unique coffee experience.

- Hydrogen Roasted Iced Coffee
- Hydrogen Roasted Iced Café Au Lait
- Flavor Profile: The hydrogen roasted coffee boasts a delicate balance of acidity and smooth bitterness, with inherent sweetness and a clear aftertaste that enhances the iced coffee drinking experience. The coffee pairs excellently with milk, making it a delightful option.
- Coffee Beans for Sale: Visitors can purchase 100g bags of UCC's hydrogen roasted coffee beans for home brewing.
- Special Canned Coffee: The Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee, packaged in a 275g can, highlights sweet and floral notes characteristic of its origin.

2. Fresh Cube Corner: Visitors can try their luck with the "CAFE@HOME Gacha," where they can win blends suitable for different occasions, premium blends like Blue Mountain and Kona Coffee, and even original branded goods. There is also an option to purchase gift sets of CAFE@HOME coffee.
