As such, the logistics zone is set to become a central node for cargo operations, reinforcing the Kingdom’s role as a trade linchpin.

A Vision of Sustainability and Efficiency

The SAR 4 billion investment earmarked for this project highlights SAL's intent to adhere to global standards in logistics operations. The SAL Logistics Zone will feature high-quality Class A warehouses and scalable storage solutions, equipped with cutting-edge operational infrastructure. Key aspects include advanced security measures, climate-controlled storage facilities, and energy-efficient technologies aimed at minimizing environmental impact. This focus on sustainability and environmental stewardship underscores SAL's dedication to optimizing supply chain management, thereby contributing positively to the economic landscape of Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Rakan AlHarthy emphasized that the logistics zone is more than a mere development; it represents an integrated economic destination designed to cater to diverse sectors. He remarked, "Our partnership with SAL will result in world-class logistics facilities, accommodating the needs of both local and international organizations, thereby ensuring seamless business operations."

Enhancing Global Competitiveness

The establishment of the SAL Logistics Zone will play a significant role in the progression of Saudi Arabia’s logistics infrastructure, directly aligning with the broader goals of the National Transport and Logistics Strategy. This initiative is expected to sharpen supply chain efficiency, cut operational expenses, and draw significant global investments in the sector. Furthermore, by offering a comprehensive business ecosystem compatible with international standards, the project aims to spur economic growth, create new job opportunities, and facilitate considerable investment prospects within the logistics domain.

The Vision for Falcons City

Falcons City itself embodies a modern integrated urban development, sprawling across 14.4 million square meters in Malham, just north of Riyadh. Its strategic positioning allows for easy access, and the city will house vital infrastructure components, including the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center, advanced logistics facilities, an aviation runway, and state-of-the-art aircraft maintenance bases aimed at optimizing air cargo operations.

In addition to logistics and aviation hubs, the project will encompass diverse commercial, residential, hospitality, entertainment, and retail zones, creating a vibrant investment and living milieu for residents, businesses, and tourists alike. As the master developer of this ambitious project, Sela is committed to ensuring that every phase adheres to the highest regulatory and developmental benchmarks in collaboration with relevant authorities.

As SAL and Sela embark on this transformative journey, they aim not only to elevate Saudi Arabia's logistics sector but also to enhance the overall capacity for international trade in the region, ultimately enhancing the Kingdom’s position on the global stage.
