The city of Yokohama is set to come alive with an exciting collaboration campaign between the popular mobile game 18TRIP and the local government. From February 7 to February 23, 2024, visitors can immerse themselves in a blend of digital fun and sightseeing, perfectly aligning with the HAMA Tours live event at Pacifico Yokohama.

What is 18TRIP?

18TRIP is a futuristic adventure game set in the fictional HAMA18 district. Players embark on a journey in this region, once a top tourist destination, facing challenges to rejuvenate its tourism industry. The game focuses on themes of hospitality and exploration, allowing players to not just enjoy the game but to engage with the real-world counterpart by visiting Yokohama.

Campaign Overview

As part of the campaign, the event will spotlight four key districts in Yokohama — Nishi Ward, Hodogaya Ward, Kohoku Ward, and Izumi Ward — each led by a designated “Tourism Community Leader” from the game, known as 18is. Participants can embark on a YOKOHAMA District Digital Stamp Rally where they visit various locations, collecting stamps to win digital merchandise and limited-edition stickers during this period.

Special photo spots will also be set up at recommended attractions by these tourism leaders, enhancing the engagement with both the game and the city.
