Proven Behavior Solutions Welcomes New Leadership to Enhance Autism Care

Proven Behavior Solutions, a prominent provider in clinical and educational services for children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is on an exciting path of transformation with its recent leadership changes. On August 6, 2025, the company announced the appointment of Mark Donovan as its new Chief Executive Officer. This strategic decision comes as former CEO Scott Snider steps down after more than nine years at the helm, during which time he played a pivotal role in steering the organization toward success.

Mark Donovan brings a wealth of experience in pediatric care and educational services to his new role. Before joining Proven, Salvador, he held significant positions such as CEO at Magical Beginnings Learning Centers and Attain ABA, a multi-state provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. His extensive background also includes leadership roles in strategic planning and development at Thrive Skilled Pediatric Care, as well as Vantage Oncology.

"It is a privilege to be appointed as the CEO of Proven Behavior Solutions," said Donovan. His enthusiasm reflects his long-standing commitment to improving outcomes for children facing developmental challenges. Donovan has been engaged with organizations focused on childhood education and pediatric care for the past decade and expresses his eagerness to lead Proven in achieving its next phase of growth.

The Proven Board of Directors has expressed confidence in Donovan's ability to continue the mission of providing exceptional care. Tracy South, Chair of the board, highlighted his leadership and operational experience in childhood education, stating, "Mark's impressive credentials align seamlessly with Proven's vision for growth and excellence in service delivery."

In conjunction with Donovan's appointment, Proven has also welcomed Kyle Bray as President and Chief Operating Officer and Piero Velarde as Chief Financial Officer. Both leaders bring considerable expertise from their previous roles in healthcare management. Bray's portfolio includes experience as COO at Podimetrics and ConsumerMedical, while Velarde has a history of financial leadership roles in various organizations, including his past collaboration with Donovan at Magical Beginnings.

The new executive team aims to capitalize on Proven's strong reputation in the market while enhancing operational excellence. By focusing on delivering high-quality care to clients, this leadership change represents a strategic move towards advancing Proven's mission in southeastern Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Scott Snider will remain engaged with the company as a member of the Board of Directors. He reflects on his nearly decade-long journey by stating, "Leading Proven from its early stages to what it is today has been a fulfilling experience. I am excited for Mark and the new leadership team as they continue to expand access to high-quality autism care."

Proven Behavior Solutions is renowned for its dedication to supporting children and adolescents affected by ASD through evidence-based practices. Their clinical team comprises experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Registered Behavior Technicians, and trained advocates offering services in home, community, and clinic settings.

The organization is also expanding their services through its acquisition of Prism Autism Education Consultation, thereby extending their reach to Northern and Central Connecticut. This move will allow them to offer educational services through Prism Academy, integrating ABA principles within their curriculum.
