Velo's 'Echoes of Tomorrowland' Event in Ibiza Brings Music and Unity
Velo, the leading nicotine pouch brand in Europe, recently launched its inaugural event, 'Echoes of Tomorrowland', at the Tomorrowland Store located in Ibiza. This exciting celebration brought together music enthusiasts from various corners of the globe, all gathered to enjoy a night filled with vibrant sounds, community spirit, and shared experiences. Notably headlining the event was the Ukrainian house and techno DJ, Korolova, whose performance resonated deeply with the audience, embodying the essence of Tomorrowland’s unique culture.
The atmosphere was electric and empowering, as the gathering promoted a message of self-expression and unification through music. Through the night, attendees had the chance to connect and engage with one another, further highlighting that the dance floor knows no bounds. 'Echoes of Tomorrowland' was not just about the music; it was a gathering of souls where individuals felt free to express their true selves.
As part of fostering an interactive community, Velo introduced a unique social experiment at the entrance. Upon arrival, guests were handed one-half of a beautifully crafted butterfly, with the challenge to find a stranger who held the other half. This creative initiative transformed a space filled with unfamiliar faces into a vibrant, collaborative community. Moreover, it intended to underline the growing global demand for shared experiences, as research indicates that almost 39% of adults find it increasingly challenging to form meaningful connections as they age. Velo and Tomorrowland's belief is that music is the ultimate catalyst for breaking down these barriers between individuals.
According to the findings, 30% of participants feel the dance floor is where they can most freely express their identity, feeling as if they can 'dance like nobody is watching'. Furthermore, 61% of people stated that they feel more comfortable when they observe others expressing themselves similarly. Korolova beautifully captured this essence during her performance, stating, 'The dance floor is one of the few places where people feel entirely free to express who they are without judgment. I felt that energy throughout the night in Ibiza; it was incredible to see everyone getting liberated and celebrating their originality together.'
The event witnessed an electrifying energy that brought people together, allowing them to forge connections through a shared experience. Camden Cox, a guest performer, remarked, 'What struck me the most about the night was how easily strangers connected through a shared experience. Sometimes, all it takes is a small invitation to spark a conversation, and to see the audience, with their abundant energy, break the ice and dance together was pure magic.'
Malky Brown, the Global Director of Content and Alliances at BAT, expressed, 'With 'Echoes of Tomorrowland', we aimed to recreate that sense of connection that makes the festival so special. By encouraging people to step outside their comfort zones and engage with one another, we brought to life Velo's belief that self-expression can unite people.'
Following the success of 'Echoes of Tomorrowland', Korolova took to the iconic Freedom Stage at Tomorrowland to unveil her new and immersive audiovisual project 'Captive Soul', mesmerizing the audience with her performance while encouraging them to embrace their originality.
