This success is indicated through their total recordable incident rate (TRIR), which has been significantly reduced over the years.

As stated by ACC President and CEO Chris Jahn, "Responsible Care® drives the safer operations that are fundamental to enabling growth across the chemical industry and strengthening a competitive U.S. economy." In alignment with this commitment, the report indicates a remarkable 26% decline in TRIR since 2017.
