Gabriela Ortiz's groundbreaking album, Revolución diamantina, has captured the attention of the music world with its remarkable successes at the 67th GRAMMY® Awards. The album, showcasing her orchestral works performed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic under the baton of Gustavo Dudamel, has stirred a significant response, demonstrating the vibrant energy of contemporary classical music.
Released through Platoon, Revolución diamantina marks a significant point in Ortiz's career, as it is the first complete album of her orchestral compositions. This work has achieved a historic milestone for the Los Angeles Philharmonic, receiving multiple GRAMMY® awards, including Best Orchestral Performance, Best Classical Compendium, and Best Contemporary Classical Composition, awarded to Ortiz herself.
