JOCHUM's Second Collaboration with Tanita: Digital Thermo-Hygrometers Launch

In an exciting return for fans, the health-centered company Tanita from Itabashi, Tokyo, is set to launch its second collaboration with the much-loved character JOCHUM, developed in partnership with popular global boy group JO1 and the renowned Sanrio. Following the successful sell-out of their first edition's digital health meter and pedometer, this new collaboration introduces a line of digital thermo-hygrometers designed with each of JOCHUM's 11 unique characters.

Starting June 25th at 2 PM, customers can pre-order this adorable new item through Tanita's online shop. Each thermometer, priced at 3,520 yen (tax included), showcases a close-up of a JOCHUM character on the front and features vibrant background colors representing each character’s theme. The pre-order period will last until July 24th at 1 PM, with products expected to ship in late October.

JOCHUM's characters originated from a development project carried out by JO1 and Sanrio in 2022, embodying the spirit of aspiration with the motto: “Those who live here have their dreams come true.” Each character resides in the enchanting JOCHUM House, where they are depicted working diligently toward their individual dreams. This second collaboration aims to support fans in cultivating healthy habits, integrating enjoyment into their daily wellness routines alongside their beloved characters.

The newly featured digital thermo-hygrometers will monitor indoor conditions, combating issues like high humidity or dryness which can increase risks related to mold, heat exhaustion, and skin irritations. Beyond merely displaying the temperature and humidity levels, the presence of the charming JOCHUM characters will undoubtedly enhance the ambiance of any living space. As fans check the readings regularly, they’ll be greeted by the nutrition-oriented designs, reinforcing a healthy lifestyle.
