Rokurinsha Celebrates 20 Years with a New Breakfast Noodle Menu Launching in Tokyo!

Rokurinsha's Exciting 20th Anniversary Celebration: Introducing New Breakfast Noodles

On April 18, 2025, Rokurinsha, known for its flavorful and thick dipping noodles, will unveil a new breakfast menu exclusive to its Tokyo Ramen Street location. To commemorate its 20th anniversary, the beloved ramen shop is introducing the "Yasashiku Men" (Soft Noodles) from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM, available for just 750 yen. This new offering comes as the previous morning specialty, "Asa Tsukemen," will be discontinued the day before.

Why Focus on 'Yasashiku Men' Now?

As Rokurinsha celebrates two decades of serving delicious ramen, the restaurant aims to bring joy to its customers with innovative offerings. The decision to launch "Yasashiku Men" stems from a desire to combine nostalgia with freshness, offering a new experience for diners.

Traditionally, Rokurinsha has been synonymous with rich and thick dipping noodles, but now, they present a softer noodle option which evokes the comfort of home-cooked ramen and the familiar texture of udon. While the ramen industry leans towards firmer textures, Rokurinsha is daring to explore the realm of softer, more tender noodles—a culinary proposal designed to surprise and delight.

The Uniqueness of 'Yasashiku Men'

The soft noodles are meticulously crafted with the addition of kansui, a mineral-rich alkaline water that adds a unique elasticity while ensuring the noodles achieve their limit of softness. Akisoba (Japanese-style soup) fans can look forward to a rich, umami-packed broth that complements the texture of the new noodles. This charming juxtaposition of soft yet elastic noodles and a robust, flavorful soup makes "Yasashiku Men" a delightful addition to the breakfast scene.

One might wonder: how can something so nostalgic feel so new? It’s precisely this contrast that resonates with customers today. Rokurinsha continues to innovate while honoring their past.

Location and Availability

"Yasashiku Men" will be sold exclusively at the Rokurinsha outlet located in Tokyo Station's Ramen Street. This special breakfast offering will be available for two hours each morning, from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM, making it essential for early risers to get there before supplies run out. Given the limited timeframe and popularity of the menu, it’s recommended to arrive early!

Customers can enjoy the refined taste of Rokurinsha’s offerings in a memorable setting as the restaurant celebrates its two decades of heritage in the vibrant Tokyo ramen culture.
