HOPE Hydration Expands Its Reach with New Funding



In a significant move towards sustainable hydration solutions, HOPE Hydration, a tech-forward company dedicated to providing free filtered water, has announced the closure of a $20 million Series A funding round. The investment, spearheaded by Pentair plc and supported by Burnt Island Ventures, aims to bolster the company's ambitious goals of expanding its innovative HydroStations™ across multiple cities worldwide.

Founded by notable entrepreneur Jorge Richardson, alongside cultural strategist Cristina Gnecco and hardware engineer Dave Tigue, HOPE believes that water is an essential human right. The company strives to combat the pervasive issue of single-use plastic waste while promoting access to clean drinking water.

Jorge Richardson, the CEO and co-founder of HOPE Hydration, commented on the growing need for accessible water solutions. He remarked, "As more people engage in outdoor activities and travel, awareness of their environmental impact has surged. Yet, the availability of public water access has not kept pace. We established HOPE to resolve this challenge, and this investment will enable us to construct a new infrastructure that caters to health, exploration, and sustainability."

HOPE's HydroStations™ utilize advanced Everpure filtration technology supplied by Pentair Water Solutions, delivering high-quality, chilled drinking water at no cost to users at various major locations such as cities, airports, and entertainment venues.

Moreover, the stations feature 55-inch LED screens for digital advertising, creating an innovative out-of-home advertising model that can subsidize installations in various venues.

Since its inception, HOPE has successfully delivered over 2 million refills, partnering with globally recognized events and Fortune 500 corporations. With this latest round of funding, the company aims to reach 10 million refills by the end of the year, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and accessible hydration.
