Culver's Thank You Farmers Project Reaches $8 Million in Donations for Agriculture

Culver's Thank You Farmers Project Celebrates $8 Million in Contributions

Culver's, the popular fast-food chain known for its delicious ButterBurgers and Fresh Frozen Custard, has recently reached an impressive milestone with its Thank You Farmers Project, achieving $8 million in donations since its inception in 2013. This initiative was created with a heartfelt purpose: to support the agricultural community and express gratitude for the farmers who provide us with essential food supplies. Over the years, the program has focused on agricultural education and fostering sustainable farming practices, ensuring a bright future for the next generation of farmers.

In 2025 alone, Culver's raised over $1.5 million, thanks to the generosity of its customers and local fundraising events. This financial support aims to strengthen agricultural practices and foster community involvement for years to come. "Behind every meal we serve in our restaurants are local hardworking farmers," says Alison Demmer, Culver's senior public relations manager. "This year and every year, we're proud to work alongside our guests to create something truly meaningful. We are thankful to everyone who supported us in this effort."

The success of the Thank You Farmers Project hinges on the goodwill of Culver's patrons. They contribute by making donations and participating in various special events designed to raise funds for agricultural initiatives. Among the noteworthy fundraising programs launched this year are:

Green and Gold Initiative

In a bid to support local agriculture, Culver's donated $1 for every rental and digital purchase of the movie "Green and Gold," accumulating a total of $100,000 to benefit three agricultural organizations.

To Farmers with Love Contest

In a creative effort to honor farmers and ranchers, Culver's invited hundreds of its guests to nominate deserving individuals for the 2025 "To Farmers with Love Contest." Five winners were chosen, each receiving a $500 cash prize, VIP access to a Tim McGraw concert at the iconic Field of Dreams, along with gift cards and merchandise from Culver's.

Scoops of Thanks Day

As part of the annual tradition, over $170,000 was donated during this year's Scoops of Thanks Day fundraiser. Patrons were treated to a scoop of Fresh Frozen Custard in exchange for a $1 donation, which directly supported local FFA (Future Farmers of America) chapters and agricultural education organizations.

Concretes for a Cause

Through the Concretes for a Cause initiative, Culver's raised more than $570,000 by donating $1 from every Concrete Mixer sold during a five-day period to local food relief efforts. This program reflects the company’s commitment to combating hunger and supporting communities across the nation.

FFA Ambassadors Program

Culver's also established an FFA Ambassadors program, enabling its guests to nominate outstanding FFA members in their communities. These ambassadors serve as representatives for Culver's and earn rewards for their local chapters, with some receiving up to $2,500 for learning experiences through agricultural advocacy events in partnership with the fast-food chain.
