SOLAR 2026: A Commitment to Solar Energy and Community

The American Solar Energy Society (ASES) proudly announces the upcoming SOLAR 2026, marking the 55th Annual National Solar Conference. Scheduled for October 19 to 21, 2026, the event will be hosted at the Palmer Events Center in Austin, Texas. This gathering aims to unite the solar community to drive the adoption of solar energy solutions, ensuring that our infrastructures are clean, resilient, and suitable for the increasing energy demands of our society.

Emphasizing Accessibility and Community

Under the theme "Solar for All, Y'all," ASES invites participants from across the United States and around the globe to gather, learn, and contribute to the renewable energy revolution. The conference serves not only as a platform for knowledge-sharing but also as a means for fostering a nationwide commitment to renewable energy use and sustainable practices.

This conference holds special significance as it coincides with the 50th anniversary of the Texas Solar Energy Society (TXSES). Patrice "Pete" Parsons, Executive Director of TXSES, remarked, "Celebrating 50 years of the Texas Solar Energy Society during a national gathering like SOLAR 2026 is a tremendous milestone for our state and our community. Texas has long been a leader in solar innovation and adoption, and we are honored to welcome renewable energy professionals, students, and advocates from across the country to Austin. This anniversary highlights our continued commitment to expanding clean, resilient, and accessible solar energy for all Texans."
