Conrad Tokyo Celebrates 20 Years with the 'Art of Harmony'
Conrad Tokyo, under the leadership of General Manager Neil Mackinlay, is marking its 20th anniversary this July with an exciting series of culinary events titled "Art of Harmony." This celebration will take place at various restaurants and bars within the hotel and feature four unique collaborations designed to offer guests unforgettable dining experiences, highlighting the art of culinary innovation and collaboration.
1. Art of Harmony No.1: Collage x Monolith - July 11
The first event kicks off with a collaboration between Gaoka Ishii, the renowned chef of the one-star French restaurant Monolith, and Takuma Kageyama, the head chef of the modern French restaurant Collage. The theme is "Fusion of Tradition and Modernity," showcasing classic French dishes such as the signature puff pastry from Monolith, paired with Kageyama's innovative approach to modern French cuisine. Using high-quality ingredients sourced from all over Japan, including the environmentally conscious Ashikaga Maru beef, this event promises to deliver a rich gastronomic experience.

2. Art of Harmony No.2: Guest Bartender Night - July 18
The second event features a special cocktail evening with Hiroki Nakamura, a Scotch whisky brand ambassador. To commemorate Conrad Tokyo's anniversary, he will serve four cocktails inspired by the theme of "Passion and Maturity" using Chivas Regal 20 Year, known as the world's first luxury whisky. Nakamura, who began his bartending career at Conrad Tokyo, will evoke memories of the past while crafting drinks that highlight the elegant and vibrant character of Chivas Regal.

3. Art of Harmony No.3: China Blue x Florilège - August 1
The third event features a collaboration between Hiroyasu Kawate, chef-owner of the two-star Japanese French restaurant Florilège, and Chi-Wai Chan, head chef of China Blue. Centered around the theme of Hong Kong, this dinner will blend rare ingredients and plant-based styles with a tribute to Cantonese cuisine through Kawate's creativity and Chan's passion for local ingredients.

Concluding the event series, Chef Toru Okuda of the two-star Ginza Kojyu teams up with Daichi Muramatsu, head chef of Fuka, to present "20 Dishes of Gratitude." Drawing on his extensive experience from opening international branches, Okuda will create a course that encompasses sushi, teppanyaki, and kaiseki, honoring Japanese cuisine's rich tradition while also seeking innovation.
