OPTIMIST, a company based in Meguro, Tokyo, is pleased to announce that its subscription service, FLEXKEY, dedicated to sauna and bath facilities, will expand its collaborations. Starting in April 2026, 14 additional locations will join the existing network, bringing the total to 41 facilities.

A Growing Network Across Japan

Until now, FLEXKEY primarily operated in the Tokyo metropolitan area, but the service is set to expand its network into the Nagoya region this April. This move aims to better connect with users across various locales while offering a new choice for making sauna experiences part of daily life. The initiative also presents facilities with a novel business model, helping them convert empty time slots into revenue.

FLEXKEY operates as a subscription model, providing access to popular saunas, public baths, and super public baths in the capital region for a flat monthly fee, allowing users to enjoy these facilities daily. Although new member recruitment has been temporarily paused for Makuake supporters, plans to reopen registrations in May are underway.
