TERREPOWER Expands Electric Power Steering Offerings
In a significant move for the automotive aftermarket,
TERREPOWER, which recently rebranded from BBB Industries, unveiled
60 new applications for its electric power steering (EPS) program. This expansion aims to simplify repairs for technicians across the nation, reflecting TERREPOWER's commitment to providing
sustainable steering solutions to vehicle operators.
Expanding the Portfolio
The newly introduced EPS technology targets model years ranging from
2013 to 2025, collectively supporting over
257 stock keeping units (SKUs) that cover approximately
60 million vehicles currently in operation. An additional 76 SKUs are projected for release in July, aiming to enhance this impressive coverage even further.
“
This innovation marks a pivotal shift in the repair landscape,” explained
Tim Connolly, Senior Director of Product Management at TERREPOWER. “By addressing a significant barrier to EPS service, we offer high-quality, sustainable alternatives to original equipment parts at competitive prices.”
As the dominance of EPS in modern vehicles rises, so does the market demand for reliable solutions within the aftermarket—a demand TERREPOWER is prepared to meet with its extensive range of EPS products.
Why Choose TERREPOWER's EPS Solutions?
The advantages of TERREPOWER’s expanded EPS offerings include:
- - Unmatched Availability: Over 257 EPS SKUs available for same-day pick-up or delivery.
- - Market-Leading Coverage: Compatible with more than 60 million vehicles on the road today.
- - Premium Value: OE-level performance at a fraction of dealership costs.
- - Confident Repairs: Backed by reliable warranties and nationwide support.
Andrew Wilson, the EPS Product Manager, emphasized the growth of the EPS segment: “Today, over
50% of vehicles are equipped with EPS systems, and we anticipate that by
2028, around
25% of steering repairs will involve EPS. TERREPOWER is ensuring that the aftermarket is ready for this shift.”
The Opportunity in EPS
Despite the increasing number of vehicles featuring EPS technology, many technicians still resort to original equipment or antiquated parts due to misconceptions about availability in the aftermarket. To combat this, retailers and distributors are collaborating with TERREPOWER to expand access to essential equipment, provide training for workshops, and supply comprehensive EPS solutions needed for technicians to keep customers returning.
With 60 new applications, enhanced sustainability practices, and first-to-market programmable technology, TERREPOWER continues to redefine the capabilities of advanced steering systems in the aftermarket industry.
