Amorepacific Museum of Art's 2026 Exhibition Program
The Amorepacific Museum of Art (APMA) in Seoul is set to host
two significant contemporary art exhibitions in 2026, promising a rich exploration of both Korean and international art landscapes.

The events will commence in
April 2026 with an exhibition titled
APMA, Chapter Five – From the APMA Collection. This exhibition aims to present a
broad overview of contemporary art, focusing on the major trajectories that have defined Korean contemporary art. Approximately
50 artworks from over
40 renowned artists will be displayed, highlighting pieces by prominent figures such as
David Hockney,
Rose Wylie,
Kiki Smith,
Nam June Paik, and
Gala Porras-Kim. The collection will encompass various artistic mediums, including paintings, photographs, and installations, allowing visitors to experience a diverse range of expressions and styles.
In
September 2026, APMA will unveil the
first solo exhibition in Asia featuring the
Los Angeles-based artist Jonas Wood. Celebrated for his unique artistic approach characterized by vibrant colors and intricate patterns, Wood has captivated audiences with his introspective paintings that often draw from personal and familial themes. His exhibition will include approximately
50 paintings and
30 works on paper, spanning more than
two decades of artistic creation. The exhibit promises to explore key themes that have influenced his work, providing insight into his creative journey and the psychological depth within his art.
