Collaboration to Innovate
Tokyo University of the Arts (TUArts) in Meguro, Tokyo, and Deloitte Tohmatsu Financial Advisory LLC, headed by Kazuhiko Fukushima in Chiyoda, have announced a groundbreaking collaboration aimed at fostering a new kind of value creation that merges music with business. Beginning in September 2025, they will introduce specialized courses designed for professionals to develop their creative problem-solving skills—cognitive abilities that include insight, creativity, and communication—through live musical performances and interactive experiences.
This initiative follows a joint project launched earlier this year that seeks to produce novel approaches to address societal challenges, combining the expertise and insights of both organizations to facilitate various efforts aiding the social integration of music and career development.
Project Objectives
The primary aim of this project is to explore how the creativity and emotional depth embedded in music can translate into value creation in corporate and societal settings. It promises a fresh space for learning and experimentation, where participants can understand and harness the power of music in diverse professional scenarios.
