As the end of the year approaches, FamilyMart, headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo, is preparing to support its dedicated franchise stores through various initiatives aimed at combating the challenges of the busy holiday season. The company's president, Kensuke Hosomi, emphasized the importance of showing appreciation to the franchisees who contribute significantly to the daily operations of their stores.
The winter months often bring challenges in managing health due to the drop in temperatures, compounded by the hustle and bustle of the Christmas and New Year season. In recognition of these challenges, FamilyMart will provide approximately 15,200 stores nationwide with a box of Orolamin C (a popular vitamin drink) consisting of 25 bottles of 120ml each. This initiative aims to inject a bit of energy and vitality into the franchise stores and their staff during this vital period.
Detailed Implementation Plan
1. Provision of Orolamin C
- Product Offered: Orolamin C by Otsuka Pharmaceutical (1 case of 125ml x 25 bottles per store)
- Target Stores: About 15,200 FamilyMart locations nationwide
- Delivery Period: Starting from December 20, 2025, the distribution of Orolamin C will occur gradually across participating stores.
2. Support from Company Employees
- Content of Support: FamilyMart headquarters employees will provide in-store assistance to help alleviate the workload during the busy Christmas and New Year shopping periods.
- Assistance Activities: This may include restocking shelves, assisting with product displays, and helping with cleaning tasks to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for customers.
- Implementation Dates: The support will take place on December 24 (Wednesday) and December 25 (Thursday), 2025.
- Stores Involved: Around 50 selected locations will benefit from this initiative.
