A Delicacy Celebration at Salon du Chocolat 2026
The world's largest chocolate fair, Salon du Chocolat, continues to enchant chocolate lovers worldwide. Scheduled for
January 31 to February 15, 2026, at the prestigious Isetan Shinjuku in Tokyo, this year's event boasts a special appearance by the renowned pastry chef and chocolatier
Sébastien Bouillet from Lyon, France.
Among the many delights, a highlight will surely be the exclusive collaboration with fellow chocolatier
Philippe Bernachon, known for his exceptional chocolate creations. Together, they present a unique chocolate collection that promises to elevate the existing classic “Macarons” into a heavenly new creation - the
Macarillon. This name pays homage to both the beloved macaron and the chef's hometown of Lyon, reflecting its essence with the clever fusion of their ingredients and techniques.
A Taste of Excellence: The Macarillon
The
Macarillon BB, priced at
4,320 yen (tax included), represents an exquisite sensory experience. The concept is simple yet innovative; a macaron is enrobed in rich chocolate, featuring a ganache crafted from Bernachon’s finest couverture. This harmonious blend creates a taste sensation where the deep, complex flavors of fine chocolate meet the light, playful texture of macarons. It's a rare opportunity to experience the artistic mastery of two of Lyon’s finest chocolatiers, making this product exclusively available at the
Tokyo venue of Salon du Chocolat.
