Palistar Capital Finalizes Major U.S. Wireless Asset Combination and Appoints New Leadership

In a significant development for the telecommunications infrastructure sector, Palistar Capital LP, a leading alternative asset management firm, has announced the completion of its U.S. wireless assets combination. This strategic move is expected to position Palistar as one of the largest and most dynamic players in North America's wireless asset landscape. The combination integrates the wireless assets of CTI Towers, Inc., a portfolio company of Palistar, with the company’s telecom easements portfolio. As a result, approximately 3,000 operational and marketable wireless assets now comprise this entity, featuring locations across all 50 states. This asset pool includes a diverse mix of urban, suburban, and rural macro wireless sites, all supported by long-term leases with investment-grade counterparties.

The formation of this extensive wireless asset portfolio is the culmination of an impressive six-year acquisition initiative that began in 2019. Over the years, Palistar has conducted hundreds of individual transactions to put this asset pool together, reflecting a robust growth strategy focused on current telecommunications demands. In tandem with the asset combination, Palistar has finalized a securitization of these assets, unlocking access to as much as $515 million in institutional insurance-grade debt capital.

The management of the newly combined asset pool will be overseen by Symphony Towers, an affiliate of Palistar. The management team aims to leverage the scale of this asset combination to drive growth while achieving synergies in operating expenses. Notably, David Bacino, who has been a trusted member of the Palistar leadership team, has been appointed to lead Symphony Towers. Bacino's extensive experience in the telecommunications sphere positions him well for this role.

Omar Jaffrey, Founder and Managing Partner of Palistar, expressed great optimism about the asset combination and Bacino’s leadership. Jaffrey stated, "These 3,000 assets have been carefully curated over the last six years, and we believe they are now well positioned to deliver strong cash flow growth—an ideal combination desired by investors." He emphasized the importance of collaborative, value-driven solutions for site owners, tower companies, and carriers in achieving long-term growth.

David Bacino provided insights into the strengths of his new team at Symphony Towers, stating, "We have one of the most talented and dedicated teams in the industry, cultivated over the last six years. I am thrilled to lead Symphony Towers as it continues to grow into one of the fastest evolving businesses in U.S. wireless infrastructure."

Bacino brings over 33 years of operational experience in the telecommunications industry. His notable past role includes serving as CEO of CTI Towers from 2021 to 2025. Before that, he was the president of Melody Wireless Infrastructure until its successful sale for $1.625 billion—a transaction that stands out as one of the most successful exits in the realm of wireless digital infrastructure in the United States.

Palistar Capital LP is recognized for its focus on critical communications and digital infrastructure investments, employing innovative financing solutions to address complex challenges faced by leading global companies in digital infrastructure.

Symphony Towers stands out as one of the industry's largest private telecom infrastructure platforms in the United States, managing close to 3,000 tower sites. This firm not only facilitates strategic revenue generation for sellers but also enhances administrative management and lease processes for wireless carriers.
