2026 Sonic Impact Scholarship Program marks the company's commitment to easing the financial burdens faced by students entering the automotive, aviation, and manufacturing trade industries. Applications for this spring round are set to close on
May 31st at
11:59 PM EDT.
Investing in Future Technicians
This innovative scholarship program is designed to provide students not only with financial support but also with the practical toolsets they need at the start of their careers. Each selected recipient will be awarded a comprehensive, trade-specific toolset along with a professional toolbox, which altogether holds a retail value of more than
$9,000.

Scholarship Details and Criteria
This year, Sonic plans to award a total of
10 scholarships, divided between two cycles—five in
June and five more in
November. Each of these scholarships will assist dedicated students who exemplify Sonic's four core
PACE values:

- - Accountability: Being dependable and responsible for their work.
- - Collaboration: Effectively working with others to achieve top-quality results.
- - Experience: Ensuring an engaging experience for peers and future customers.
To qualify, applicants must submit their application by the stated deadline, including:
- - Proof of enrollment in an accredited trade school (such as a student ID or class schedule).
- - A letter of recommendation from a current instructor.
- - A 500-word essay discussing how they embody the PACE values and their vision for making an impact.
- - A 60-90 second video explaining how Sonic will play a role in their career.
Application Periods and Awarding Process
In addition to the spring cycle, students will have another opportunity to apply in the fall, with applications for this second round due by
October 31st at
11:59 PM EDT. Each award not only represents financial assistance but also a significant investment in the practical skills that are crucial for success in technical fields.
With tools and solutions developed in collaboration with industry experts and educators, Sonic ensures its toolsets cater specifically to students gearing up for future careers in

2025, Sonic has contributed over
$90,000 in tools to students across the United States, with many more awards planned for 2026.
