Deloitte Sells Auvenir to Management and Rebrands as Streamworks Tech
In a significant shift within the accounting technology landscape, Deloitte has completed the sale of Auvenir, a prominent software provider specializing in cloud-native accountech and compliance platforms, to its management team, consisting of Pete Myers, Neeraj Sharma, and Tim Parker. This strategic move has led to Auvenir's rebranding as Streamworks Tech, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the evolution of client engagement tools.
Founded as an internal venture of Deloitte, Auvenir was established with the aim of automating engagement and enhancing collaboration with clients. Over the years, the Auvenir team successfully developed advanced audit software that gained traction with major clients, including Deloitte itself, Audit New Zealand, and various governmental agencies. This reflects Deloitte’s commitment to fostering innovation while ensuring that Streamworks Tech is well-positioned for continued growth under its current leadership.
