Limited-Time Refreshing Cold Chicken Noodle Soup Launched by Marufuku

New Limited-Time Noodle Delight by Marufuku

Starting June 19, 2025, Marufuku Noodle Shop, operated by Monogatari Corporation, will start serving a special limited-time dish: the Cold Chicken Noodle Soup. This refreshing dish is set to delight noodle enthusiasts and provide a unique summer dining experience.

What Makes the Cold Chicken Noodle Soup Special?

The Cold Chicken Noodle Soup features a delicate and aromatic chilled broth made from carefully selected katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes) ensuring a profound umami flavor. The soup is accompanied by two types of succulent chashu (braised meat) – one is a juicy rare pork chashu that has been cooked at low temperatures for over seven hours, and the other is a tender chicken chashu that is steamed to perfection. This combination offers a refreshing yet flavorful bowl of noodles.

To enhance the experience, a splash of citrus yuzu is recommended, adding a refreshing tang that perfectly complements the rich flavors of the chashu. Priced at 890 yen before tax (979 yen including tax), this dish is more than just a meal; it's a culinary experience not to be missed.

Marufuku’s Signature Offerings

While the Cold Chicken Noodle Soup is expected to be a hit, Marufuku also offers its flagship Rich Chinese Noodles, priced at 790 yen before tax (869 yen including tax). This dish is crafted using domestic chickens and chicken carcasses, boiled using high-pressure steam to create a golden broth. Further enhancing the flavor, it combines high-quality katsuobushi from Makurazaki, resulting in a rich, aromatic double-stock soup.

To complement the robust broth, the noodles are made from Hokkaido wheat, creating straight, fragrant thin noodles that hold the soup well. Large slices of tender pork belly chashu are the crowning glory of this signature bowl.

Marufuku’s Gyoza (390 yen before tax, 429 yen including tax) is also a must-try, filled with savory pork and fresh domestic cabbage. Each dumpling has a perfectly crispy exterior while bursting with juicy goodness inside, making it a satisfying side choice. The menu also features delightful options like the Fried Rice with Egg Yolk (630 yen before tax, 693 yen including tax) and the crispy Chicken Karaage (390 yen before tax, 429 yen including tax), ensuring a well-rounded selection for diners.

For families, there's a variety of kid-friendly options, complete with toys to keep the younger guests entertained. Marufuku also has a designated takeaway section for frozen raw gyoza, bringing the delightful flavors home.

A Suave Dining Atmosphere

The interior of Marufuku is designed to offer a serene ambiance, featuring a Japanese aesthetic that welcomes both individual diners and families alike. This environment not only enhances the dining experience but also makes it a perfect spot to enjoy authentic Japanese noodles and gyoza.
