Initially resistant to Tang's methods, Wang Zhan gradually finds himself drawn to him – a perplexing mix of admiration and emotional conflict unfolds as he confronts the reality of his situation. Alongside the main couple, the show features a compelling subplot with characters Zhang Yi Qing (張以慶), a wedding planner, and Wang Zhan's university classmate, Tu Jing He (涂井和).
