What is Hataraku Eru?

Hataraku Eru, or the Employee Welfare Certification System, is aimed at promoting and developing employee welfare practices. It recognizes corporations that implement outstanding welfare activities as well as those that demonstrate commitment to expanding their welfare programs. As of now, a total of 554 corporations have been acknowledged under this certification system. Furthermore, with support from Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare as of December 2025, the recognition of such initiatives is projected to increase socially.
