Sakurajuji Group Launches New Logo for a New Era Ahead

Sakurajuji Group's New Logo: A Symbol for the Next Decade

The Sakurajuji Group, committed to the mission of enhancing life in the era of 100-year lifespans, announces a significant change in its group logo, effective January 1, 2026. This logo overhaul aligns with the group's new vision of becoming a "WELL-BEING FRONTIER," emphasizing the importance of well-being in every aspect of life.

The refresh of the logo encapsulates our aspirations to share our ideals with society and defines our direction as we embark on the next decade. The Sakurajuji Group has built its foundation over the past years, and the new logo represents our commitment to creating a brighter, sustainable future for all. It signifies our endeavours in corporate revitalization, business creation, and social contribution.

Background and Purpose: Reflecting on Two Decades

Founded in 2005, the Sakurajuji Group started with the aim of creating a hospital where people could gather and smile beneath cherry blossoms. Since then, we have expanded our operations from core medical services to preventive healthcare, elder care, home services, and other lifestyle areas, growing from 488 employees to 10,201—a twentyfold increase.

As we celebrate our 20th anniversary, our focus is not just on physical health but also on mental wellness and social connections. We aspire to be pioneers in the new value domain of well-being, and this hope is captured in our slogan, "WELL-BEING FRONTIER," which was introduced in December last year. Our new logo serves as a symbol of our mission and the aspirations we uphold.

New Logo Overview and Meaning

The new logo embodies the values of the “WELL-BEING FRONTIER” and symbolizes our commitment to a future of well-being.

Change in Group Name Representation

To enhance global recognition, the group name will transition from the traditional Japanese characters to the alphabetic representation as “sakurajuji.”

Design Elements

The logo design reflects fundamental concepts encapsulated in "SAKURA" and "YUKARI." The sakura pink on the left symbolizes the beautiful cherry blossoms that have provided comfort to individuals and represents the foundation of our first hospital. In contrast, the purple on the right denotes "YUKARI," which signifies connections among people. The intertwined ribbon design connects individuals, communities, and the future, illustrating our commitment to spread well-being nationwide and globally. This unique shape has been dubbed the "Frontier Ribbon."

Reinventing Business Segments in the 100-Year Life Era

Alongside the logo introduction, the Sakurajuji Group is reorganizing its core business segments into three main areas to meet the demands of the 100-year era. The categories established are: Medical, Experience, and Solution.

Medical

This segment covers healthcare services related to diseases and health. We will continue to support individual health comprehensively through hospital services, elder housing, preventive healthcare, home services, and more, going beyond traditional medical care.

Experience

This area provides lifestyle services to enrich daily living, such as community development, sports and entertainment, cafes and dining, and resort management to create vibrancy among people and communities.

Solution

This segment focuses on foundational services relating to human resources, capital, and information such as business succession support, consulting, and media services, enabling sustainable growth within and outside the group.

Each of these three areas will not operate in isolation; rather, they will interlink to generate the values that enrich individual lives.

While the medical segment will continue utilizing the familiar Kanji logo for clarity and trust in patient relations, our vision has evolved over the past 20 years to encompass a broader perspective. The Sakurajuji Group aims to be an entity that fulfills life across medical, experiential, and societal dimensions, continuing its commitment to creating a well-being frontier.

Conclusion

As part of our commitment to our mission, the Sakurajuji Group strives to nurture the quality of life (QOL) in the future alongside our new logo. With a vision to support not only physical health but also mental fulfillment, the Sakurajuji Group will tirelessly pursue its goals in the changing landscape of wellness.
