Elevate Your Teaching Skills at the 2025 ELEC Winter English Education Training



The English Language Education Council (ELEC) is pleased to announce its annual Winter English Education Training, backed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in Japan. From December 25 to 27, 2025, this esteemed workshop will take place, offering practical teaching methods that enhance lesson quality and inspire student engagement.

A Historical Commitment to Quality Education


Established in 1957, ELEC has been at the forefront of developing English education, making this the 68th year of its impactful training sessions. The Winter Training is designed to benefit a variety of stakeholders, including middle and high school English teachers, educational professionals, and anyone interested in English education. Participants have the opportunity to learn from experienced educators through either in-person sessions or online courses via Zoom.

In-Person Training Details

  • - Times: 9:30 AM - 12:20 PM & 1:30 PM - 4:20 PM
  • - Location: Yasuda Community Plaza, B1F, 2-9 Kanda Nishiki-cho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo
  • - Instructors: Atsuko Kosuge, Taiki Miyazaki, Hiroki Sasaki, Takahiro Miyazaki (in order of appearance)

In addition to the main Winter Training, ELEC is also hosting the Winter English Education Workshop for elementary teachers on December 26 and 27, 2025. This specialized workshop focuses on strategies to facilitate English learning in younger students.
