On October 28, 2024, Baby Jam Inc., headquartered in Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, was recognized as a promising company under the "J-Startup WEST" program, an initiative managed by the China Bureau of Economy and Industry. This program is designed to select and support startups from the Chugoku and Shikoku regions that aspire to grow nationally and globally.

What is J-Startup WEST?

"J-Startup WEST" aims to enhance support for promising startups in the region and to strengthen the local ecosystem. It targets companies that:

The selection for J-Startup WEST is based on seven criteria, which are:

2. Growth Potential – Assessments of the company's prospects for rapid expansion.
3. Impact – The positive effect the company can have on society and the economy.
4. Regional Relevance – How the company addresses local needs and contributes to the regional ecosystem.

7. Advanced Nature – The sophistication and advancement of the company's product or service.

The program is overseen by the China Bureau of Economy and Industry, the Shikoku Bureau of Economy and Industry, and various business associations within the region.

On November 20, 2024, Baby Jam will be showcased at the unveiling ceremony of TSUNAGU Hiroshima 2024, where the company will formally receive the award as a recognized representative of the J-Startup WEST selection effort.

In alignment with this recognition, Baby Jam is also the creator of the independent artist AI manager app, "NORDER."
